Those who know me know, I like to keep my ear to the underground music scenes. This time around, I wanted to update you on some current top songs on Apple Music. There is something about this list and the artists on it that brings a bit of nostalgia and appreciation for where music has arrived in 2025.

Let's jump in... At #1 we got...

  1. "Use Me" by Bow Wow & Chris Brown
    Released on March 28, 2025, this collaboration blends Bow Wow's rap verses with Chris Brown's smooth vocals, creating an R&B-infused track that's quickly gaining popularity.

  2. "Dark Thoughts" by Lil Tecca
    WE LOVE YOU TECCA! This is, without a doubt, our team's favorite song so far this year. Dropping earlier this month, Lil Tecca delves into personal struggles in this party bop, resonating with listeners through its heartfelt lyrics and dynamic, HI-RES production.

  3. "Can't Hide It" (feat. Jhené Aiko) by Lil Durk
    This emotive track features Lil Durk's introspective storytelling complemented by Jhené Aiko's soulful chorus, making it a standout release for the month of March [2025].

  4. "GOT DAMN" by Gunna
    Gunna's most recent moment displays his signature melodic flow over a hypnotic beat, solidifying this song in top playlists.

  5. "Hello Miss Johnson" by Jack Harlow
    Jack Harlow brings his charismatic energy and clever wordplay to this catchy track, quickly becoming a fan favorite. It was a close call between this song and, "Just Us (feat. Doja Cat)."

  6. "Nokia" by Drake
    Featured on his collaborative album (of the year) with PARTYNEXTDOOR, "Some Sexy Songs 4 U," the hit "Nokia" blends electronic beats with Drake's party vibes.

  7. "FOMDJ" by Playboi Carti
    A track from his chart-topping album "MUSIC," "FOMDJ" highlights Playboi Carti's unique style and has garnered significant attention since its release. Though, for some reason, the album seems to have barely satisfied his fanbase. 

  8. "UNLIMITED" (feat. Playboi Carti) by NAV
    NAV teams up with Playboi Carti post-"MUSIC," for this energetic track, combining their distinct sounds over a pulsating beat. This song is featured on NAV's new album, "OMW2 REXDALE."

  9. "Vanish Mode" by Lil Durk
    Another smash-hit out of the park from Lil Durk, "Vanish Mode" showcases his matured versatility and ability to still connect with audiences through relatable themes despite his circumstances.

  10. "Ran Out" by JT
    JT's latest solo effort, "Ran Out," delivers sharp lyrics and a captivating beat, marking her continued rise in the hip-hop scene. And it's a slapper!

The obvious norm is that the charts are always evolving and changing. Either way, here at THHB we'd like to give our input, be it big or small, in welcoming new artists to the charts. Similarly, we'd like to praise artists like Drake, Jhené Aiko, and Chris Brown for gracing these charts time and time again over the last two decades.
